DIY TRANSFER APPLICATION & CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Transfers for COLORED SHIRTS (including white)
Transfers for colored shirts will always have a background in the shape of a square or circle. Only designs listed under colored shirt transfers are available for colored shirts.
  1. These are printed regular for colored and white shirts.
  2. Heat your press to 350°.
  3. Use a lint roller on the area you will be pressing.
  4. Pre-press your shirt for 5 seconds to remove the moisture.
  5. Cut the design all the way up to the print. The white will show if not cut away! I like to leave a tab on the design, so I can tear the tab to release the paper backing. Cut the tab when finished.
  6. Carefully peel the paper backing away from the transfer film. Place face up on the shirt. Use caution when doing this as nearby heat makes the transfer sometimes tricky to deal with.
  7. Cover with parchment paper. I use Walmart Great Value Parchment Paper.
  8. Press the transfer with MEDIUM-HEAVY pressure for 25-30 seconds.
  9. When the design has cooled down some, peel away the parchment paper in one smooth diagonal motion. I usually wait 3-5 seconds after pressing before removing the parchment paper.
** PRO TIP **
Cut three sides of the transfer all the way up to the print. The side that hasn’t been cut yet, tear it like you would a regular piece of paper. It will release the transfer from the paper backing. Once it is released from the paper backing you can cut away the white on the final side. I have found that it’s much easier if you do it this way!

Transfers for WHITE SHIRTS ONLY.
Printed mirrored for white shirts only. This transfer will only work for white shirts.
  1.  Heat your press to 375°.
  2. Use a lint roller on the area you will be pressing. Please make sure to lint roll well or blue lint will be visible after you press.
  3. Pre-press your shirt for 5 seconds to remove the moisture.
  4. Loosely trim away the excess paper from the transfer. I usually trim as close as I can.
  5. Place transfer face down on the shirt.
  6. Press with HEAVY pressure for 30-35 seconds.
  7. Let the shirt cool completely. It should be cold to the touch. Peel the backing paper off of the shirt.
  8. Return the shirt back to the press. Cover with parchment paper and hold the heat press down WITHOUT locking it shut. You should just hover over the design to warm it up. Do this for 5 seconds to reheat.
  9. Remove shirt from press and gently STRETCH the shirt (horizontally & vertically)  while it’s HOT.
    DO NOT STETCH COLD!!!!!
  10. Return the shirt back to the press. Cover with parchment paper and hold the heat press down WITHOUT locking it shut for 5 seconds.

For best results we recommended that you press these with a heat press. A home iron doesn’t always reach the right temperature for these designs.

Care Instructions
Wash garment inside out in cold water.
Do NOT use fabric softener or bleach.
I recommend using a Shout Color Catcher the first couple of washings to prevent any possible color bleeding.
Remove garment from the wash immediately after the cycle is finished.
Hang to dry.
If ironing is needed, only iron the back of the shirt. Do not let the iron directly touch the design.
